This is page 9 of my comics; the first-ever comicbook i sold at an event; summer komikon 2009.

just for kicks, i drew most of these soldiers; based from real-life japanese actors and/or music personalities.

they don't look like the original references that much, but at least i had character references from which to build up from.

The Scene Setup:
- world war 2; young Filipino medic escapes an ambush by a small group of Japanese Soldiers. he finds a mysterious wounded Soldier lying at the beach unconscious and he decides to help by bringing him along to safety; away from the eyes of the Japanese Soldiers chasing after him.
